PAGE 17
God-given talent is a special gift that fills our lives with treasure, gives a lift
to those who search for beauty's awesome show,
and hearts that wander, lonely and adrift. When inspiration strikes, the artists know
that someone found their dream. They help it grow,
then smile with pride while artisans create
and work develops masterpieces's glow.
Kind words encourage, urge, and motivate
the flame of genius, but cruel words weight
can smother craftsman's creativity
as dreams descend to dark deserted fate.
Lord, what a barren place this world would be
without the beauty found in artistry,
and words of truth revealed in poetry.

Welcome To My Heart
"Come in this house and have a cup of tea,
and tell me what you're up to, how you've been! Had a feeling you just might stop by So baked banana muffins. They're still warm." "A china cup, lace napkin just for me? I haven't felt so welcomed since back when-- And roses in a crystal vase--oh, my! I'll have another muffin. There's no harm." "I brought some snapshots of my family."
We munch, catch up on news, tell jokes, and then Exchange advice, share secrets, laugh and cry. Time flies. You have to go. I twist your arm.
"You must stop by more often, oh, please do!
When we can't visit, somehow I feel blue. My door and heart stay open wide for you." Vivienne Sonnet Pattern abcd abcd abcd eee Vivian and I performed this poem as a skit
